swimsuit think tank Creative Weeks: Residencies balance group activity, personal work time, facilitated conversation, the exchange of work and performance. Creators working in any area, arts, humanities, sciences, etc. are welcome. Residencies are structured around a project’s specific needs. A typical day might begin with several hours of individual/team work, lunch, an optional afternoon excursion or on-site activity, dinner, and an evening gathering of resident artists.

Research & Development/Curated Weeks: Past season highlights have included a Political Theater Week, headed by playwright Jeffrey Hatcher, which culminated in THE WIDE STANCE, an interactive political comedy performed in Minneapolis concurrent with the Republican Convention; Onsite Theatre and Dance performance entitled ROOMS OF DISQUIET devised and performed by the nationally renowned Stuart Pimlser Dance and Theater Company; our 1st Annual Swimsuit Think Tank; the Future of the American Theatre hosted by St. Paul Theatre Critic Dominic Papatola; site-specific new play development; play development workshops; new dance creation entitled TALES FROM THE BOOK OF LONGING, by the returning Stuart Pimsler Dance and Theater Company.
