As a 501-c3 non-profit organization, Tofte Lake Center accepts tax-deductible contributions that help keep fees affordable for working artists, scholars and activists.
While many retreat centers concentrate on one particular discipline, TLC focuses on interdisciplinary interaction in a wondrous natural setting. The programs at TLC balance group activity in the outdoors with personal work time, facilitated conversation, and the exchange of work and performance. All activities stem from our belief that individual creativity is the essential tool in our evolution as a culture.
